I would like to analyse the secondary data I have using the SEM (sequential Equation Model). All the papers I managed to locate are using SEM with primary data only. Please share your experience of using SEM with secondary data.
Yes, you still can use the secondary data for SEM likely TIMSS data as long the sample size requirement and other assumption for CBSEM is meet

I found your question similar to mine. How did you import the secondary data with different ranges, for example, in my case some of them are [0-1] but some are >100,000. Could we still use them without any normalization?
Thank you, I found the response useful. Please, can we get evidence that we can reference to support this as I also intend to use SEM to analyse secondary data and I am certain it will raise alot of questions.
