Can Scherrer’s equation give larger sizes than those that we see under an electron microscope?

Using Scherrer’s equation on XRD patterns only gives us an estimation of crystallite size. The real crystallite size can be different from what we obtain by this method. But can Scherrer’s equation give us larger sizes than what we obtain by a electron microscope?
