Infertility is much more a modern ‚life-style‘ question than related to pants. I see stress as the main problem for inhibited and reduced spermatogenesis; in addition, all kinds of neurotropic drugs (e.g. nicotine, coffeine) and strong alcohol beverages (over 15%) are harmful to spermatogenesis, with reference to male fertility.
Zinc (as nutrition component) is a very important chemical element in spermatogenesis as well a drinking enough water and physical activity, to name the practical medical keys.
If true, it would be form of natural birth control - and that wouldn't be so dumb in the present clmate problems.

Before i talk in this subject let to talk about relationship between testis mechanism and body temperature :
Narrow pants have lead to testis near body. The temperature of testis 3-5 C less body temperature. Adhesion testis with body lead to increase temperature in testis, so influence sperm production especially in summer with increase temperatures. The continue according with hot environments lead to sub-fertility and temporary sterility.In this case different in cold environment.
Loose pants not effect on testis due to testis are stretch and shrink in under all environment .
