Dear Dr Praveen,

Yes, recovery whether for reagent or for sample may come to 100%. In some recoveries you may get very low percentage because the low stability of compound used such as myricetin in our field. The issue is calculation sample/std multiplied in different factors that you used or according to your experiment. 103-105 is also acceptable. The question in other way round if the recovery was repeatedly between 30-60%?

The recovery rate is an observation which includes an error that can easily exceed 5%.
