I have attached the sem image of polycarbazole film over silicon wafer obtained through electrochemical polymerization. Can you please comment about the quality of polycarbazole film. Can I be sure from this sem image that polycarbazole film has actually formed on silicon wafer?

Hi Mahammad;

Several factors influence the structuring of the film on the substrate surface. The most important parameter to control in electrodeposition is the current density. Generally, low current densities favor the grain-like morphology. During electrodeposition, the potential applied to an ideally flat electrode is evenly distributed over the surface.
