Yes. I have personally seen a PCOS case who has all her hormones with in the normal ranges. But the question is, does her body accepts the common scale as normal?

I have patiens with PCO and hirsutism with proper levels of androgens. But the evaluate of androgens is difficult in practise. And PCO may have different kinds - for example with normal ovulations and with out ovulation.

There are many women in my country with all the signs of diagnosed PCOS and their androgen levels particular testosterone levels are normal. A careful look at their BMI, lifestyle modification and medication should be a good study for your search in linking them.

if a patient has normal testosterone or other androgens like androstenedione ,still if patient persists with hissutism it is considered a part of PCOS but otherwise to get to te degfinition of classical PCOSby the rotterdam criteria there has to be oligoovulation or short cycles ewith serum progesterone

A diagnosed patient with PCOS having normal androgen levels are normal. However some show hirsutism and others don't. The level of hirsutism I have never seen examined fully. As some have facial, chest and lower back hirsutism. Is there a link between the level of hirsutism and androgen abnormalities?
