Thanks for providing me the information. I have gone through the materials(patent). It seems that the idea of this patent is much similar as the one proposed in my paper (ISOPE2014). As there is no figure available for this patent, I am not clear about the configuration of that patent.

I just noticed this conversation you've had with Boris. You might have found a copy of the paper by now, if not I enclose it here. It seems we have been working on the same idea for a while :) I learned about your interest in this when you published the paper at the ISOPE conference in 2014. Are you still pursuing this work? CorPower Ocean is soon doing sea trials that we are very excited about.

Thanks for your reply. Boris have sent me the paper. And as you said, we are working on the same idea for a while. It is really great that you and your colleague in CorPower Ocean is doing sea trials (which is really a big step further for this new idea). Now I am still very interested in this work and only focusing on numerical investigation of similar nonlinear mechanism applied in WEC. An manuscript introducing a novel adaptive bistable potential mechanism has been submitted to the journal Renewable Energy and is under review now. I am wondering if there are any possibilities that we can cooperate in similar topics.
