I'm using a PE FTNIR spectroscope and working in a wave length 759nm to 2500nm. I'm broke with quartz cuvette. Can I use a glass container for scanning my material?
I think that quartz cuvette is only the option for your purpose. It cover UV (400 - 200 nm), Visible (800 - 400 nm) and also a part of the near IR (about 2500-800 nm) spectrum range, but is more expensive than glass.
An interesting list of properties of mineral materials used for spectrophotometry cuvettes can be available at: http://www.hellma-analytics.com/text/283/en/material-and-technical-information.html
