Has anybody used a TaqMan probe on samples from 2 different species? If yes, can you please walk me through the steps on the Thermofisher website to buy the probe?

Why would you be worried about different species for a TaqMan assay? As long as the sequence for whatever gene you are looking at is the same in the two species, I don't understand why it won't work.
I'm assuming that you are talking about gene expression... but if you are not and are talking about a TaqMan protein assay... this will depend.. because it is still based on antibody recognition of the protein... so as long the antibody pairs will work in both species, it should work.
