Two or more dependent variables are not necessary. The model discussed here is of course also possible with SEM. This approach is probably preferable, since the variables have a latent character. Dear M. Mansur , I think you need to test Interactive effect of both the variables to see "Combined Effect" on your Dependent Variable, as multiple regression would only produce "Simultaneous Effect" of both the variables. In other words, based on the theoretical argument of your study, perform moderation analysis to find interdependence of one independent variable on the other. Regards
