I have to isolate RNA from various types of callus samples. Is it possible that first I grind the callus tissue in liquid nitrogen and then store the powdered form in centrifuge tubes at -80 and then isolate RNA with in 3-4 days. Thanks
You can surely store your samples at -80 and reuse them without any heisitation. But it is suggested not to de-freeze or thaw them many a times as that would lead to RNA degradation. This holds equally true for protein samples as well. Hope this helps. Best wishes.
