I am a MSc student in Adult Nursing, I am thinking about my research topic at the moment. However, my area of interest is in maternal and child health( midwifery) . Is it possible to proceed with my research studies since I am still an adult nursing student?

Try to review the literature on the field of maternal and child health. it will facilitate you to plan research studies in that area. As you have basic knowledge of nursing, you can do it. the literature review is the best pathway to plan the research study. But having knowledge and clinical exposure in that area are also important.
