Thanks for your response. However, my concern with buying that from sources like this is that I'm not sure if all the required datasets will be available in the report. This for instance available data from the site suggested is from March 2008, whereas I need data from 1990.

You can check with FDI Markets from Financial Times. They have sectorial FDI and even company level data. However, it is not a free source.
