I want to glean information based on technique to review some research piece. what things are to focus while reviewing ? How should i review and on what basis should i comment? what are the techniques to be taken in mind while reviewing research piece?

Genuinity and novelty of the reaserch is the foremost thing.

Then check the clarity of hypothesis, methods and justification of the results.

You also need check wether the article is presented properly.

Check referncing as well.

Then see the impact of the research.
