I have data that are grossly discordant (>30%) but when I plotted and used the isochron intercept as the initial Pb-composition and fitted he discordia line without external constraints, the ages I got from sub-concordant (> 10 - ≤ 30%) and discordant (>30%) are comparatively similar to the concordant data. I then

ploted the 207Pb/235U- vs. 206Pb/238U-ratio (Wetherill concordia).

Are the measures I took above sufficient to facilitate usability of the discordant data?
