The mapped strip lies within the boundary between the Older Granite (Precambrian aged) and the Younger Granite (Mesozoic) in Central Nigeria. Occurrence of lode veins bearing cassiterite, sulphides were reported in the area. So, the prospective zones have been pitted and only relics and the terrain is highly weathered. The field photograph is from a paddock that show contact sharp contact between the Older granite (host rock) and its greisened parts. I observed the discontinous quartzofeldpathic vein around the 'greisen'. Can I regard it as stockwork?
This is an interesting situation that has produced tin. The newer granite with the greisen, presumably with some tin, has intruded into the older granite, but your picture does not show a network of crosscutting veins in many directions ( approx. definition of a stock work).
I guess the tin came with the greisen which is like alteration channels. It did not come as a stock work of veins, at least in this picture.
