I tried to draw DAG for internalizing symptoms and their link with suicide ideations.
I written a script for assessing DAG in prediction suicide ideation based on internalizing symptoms and covariates .
But, when I run this script, some Arrows were unreasonable.
for example suicide ideation predicited gender , whereas our hypothes says vice versa :D
I attached files.
I would be pleased if you could help me to solve my problem.

First of all, you should draw your model based on theoretical and logical relationships established in previous literature.
Then, you should keep in mind the role of variables in your model. I recomend you this paper: https://pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/33330936/
Keep in mind the temporary order of variables to establish causal relationships. Ej. in your causal model, first are variables such as gender, family variables, those might be related with mood, those with depression, those with suicide, etc.
I reccomend you this software to do this previous work of specify the model, and when you have It clearer, you can run the statistical analysis.
