I plan to create a GUI in python (or any suggested tool) which essentially reads a huge collection of data from a CSV table, so that when the user selects a certain combination of the data, the corresponding result is given back to the user.
I have described an example in the image attached. Would really be grateful for any suggestions!
Yes, you absolutely can build a GUI like this in python if you so choose. I would think a bit about how you want the end-used to use it. There are - in my opinion - better options such as Plotly's Dash (https://plot.ly/products/dash/) which allows you to make extremely attractive data-driven GUI's that are browser based using just python (under the hood it is a Flask/React app). Otherwise, you could always just use Tkinter or PyQt depending on whether you want the GUI to be compiled or not.
