I am currently conducting a systematic literature review and I have come across to " The Ultimate Guide to Writing a Dissertation in Business Studies" by :(Dudovskiy, 2018). The author listed "company reports" as one as a "primary source for literature review". Therefore, I would like to know if company financial reports also could count as a primary sources.

Can I consider companies financial reports as a primary source for literature review ?
It depends on your research problem & objective(s) - generally you can use companies financial reports as one of your sources for literature review especially related to the contents of your research that need certain datasets to be input into your research model. However, for a novelty research, you need to perform rigorous literature review not just on contents, but also literature review on research problems, issues, trends, theories, theoretical frameworks, methodology etc. through other means e.g. journal articles, text books, historical artifacts etc.
You certainly can if it fits with your protocol for your systematic review. Systematic reviews can include financial reports, grey literature, newspaper reports as long as you haven't said you will only include RCTs or similar.
