I am programming Arduino to connect it with ultrasonic sensor. Further, I want to connect the arduino to pixhawk autopilot, so that it can control the motors as per my requirement.

So, according to me, the connections will be like, 

Ultrasonic - - Arduino - - Autopilot

I think that I need arduino for programming the ultrasonic operations as per my requirement. 

If I can do this, please give me some suggestions.

I think I can do it by another way, like, connecting Sensor directly with Autopilot. But, in that case, I will need to edit the programming of the Autopilot system and I am facing difficulty in doing that.

Please suggest me something.

Any new solution is also welcome.
