Since a rolling bearing lubrication problem requires two conditions :

(1) The presence on the high frequency spectrum of an acceleration peak relating to a resonances.

(2) The envelope spectrum should not include any peaks.

Is it possible to replace condition (2) by using the notion of Crest Factor ?. I think the role of condition (2) is to confirm whether the bearing is in good condition. In case of lubrication it is a random shock
