I am doing my master thesis about data-driven organizations that use the Scrum framework in software development. I am conducting semi-structured interviews, with one role in those companies (Product Owner), as the only source of data collection.

My research question is "What are the factors that influence the use of data-driven decision-making by Product Owners in Scrum framework?"

I am interviewing 15 product owners, all from different companies.

I have read Yin for case study and he mentions to also collect data from other sources (observations, focus groups, etc.) but I don't have that option.

So, can I conduct a multiple case study with only semi-structured interviews?

Or, if I don't have a strong multiple case study, can I just say that my research strategy are semi-structured interviews or would I be missing a strategy/approach?

I appreciate any help you can give me. Thank you!
