Hello everyone

I would like to analyze the behavior of an ORC under off design conditions through the variation of the inlet evaporator temperature of the heat source fluid.

I calculated under nominal conditions the parameter UA using Q = F * UA * LTMD for a shell and tubes heat exchanger.

Would it be too imprecise to do this analysis assuming a constant UA coefficient equal to that calculated under nominal conditions?

I do not have the ORC evaporator design parameters so I can not recalculate the new value of UA for each new temperature profile.

Many thanks.
