Can humic acid be a better photosensitizer compared to blackberry dyes?

i read a research paper where they use humic acid present in the soil as a photosensitizer, since it has a lot of functional groups it seems it can bind with TiO2 strongly and hence it's degradation when exposed to sunlight is low. Does it mean it is better than blackberry or raspberry dyes which have degradation problem?
