For hydrate equilibrium temperature calculation at a given pressure for water containing inhibitors like salt, at ice point of water containing inhibitors, the activity of water term suddenly changes from 1 for ice to a low value for liquid water with inhibitors. It is possible for some inhibitors that at ice point, the hydrate equilibrium conditions for both S I and S II hydrates are satisfied together. Has such a condition ever been observed practically?
