In natural systems, yes, more than one nutrient can be deficient, certainly, depending on the soil chemical characteristics and the plant feedback. For example in boreal systems, often both nitrogen, and bases can be limiting. However, only one nutrient is MOST limiting, and if this nutrient is applied then other deficiencies will come to the top.
Very often , sectorial nutrient deficiency on a plant involving deficiency of more than one nutrients is commonly observed. Alison is right , one nutrient will be dominant and other will recessive type , but symptoms will be very clear.
