The institutional instruments of Latin American integration have become difficult since the advance of political rights in the region. Mercosur and ALBA weakened and UNASUR practically disappeared. In January Mexico assumed the presidency of CELAC and proposed a rather ambitious plan for the work of this organization. There would be the possibility of a Mexico / Argentina axis promoting this process. Is it possible that progress will be made in Latin American integration from this organization and from this axis?
