Can anyone tell me which band is used for adg443 in a L2 MODISA IOP file? While plotting images in ENVI software band number is asked; please tell me which band corresponds to adg443 in the level 2 file of MODIS-A IOP. Also, which band corresponds to Chla in OC file of MODIS-A at L2 level.
It appears that the adg443 is band 16, "Absorption due to gelbstof and detrital material at 443nm, Carder algorithm." When you opened your file in ENVI, didn't it list all of the constituent datasets, as in the screenshot I am attaching?
Thank You Mr. Cherrington. When I opened the file in ENVI, it showed only Band list startinfg from 1-32.
Have you used SeaDAS? It was designed for ocean color products.

Band 9 is at 443nm.
As for the bands used for the chl algorithms, for MODIS Aqua, the algorithm used is OC3, which is a 3-band ratio algorithms, either the ratio Rrs443/Rrs551 or Rrs448/Rrs551. So, the algorithm uses band 9, 10 and 12. More info here:

Thank you Mr. Javier for your information. I used SeaDAS to reproject the data and I used reprojected data in ENVI for band math calculation.
