Priyaragini Singh MSM/M9 media (acetate minimal media for heavy metals) are commonly used for degradation studies. You can alter the carbon source with the choice of compound for possible biological degradation.

Cellulose Agar Media/Cellulose Congo-Red can be used to isolate and confirm the presence of Cellulose Degrading Bacteria; Malt extract Agar can be used to grow lignin degrading microbes; Starch-Casein agar for Actinomycetes; as Neethu Kamarudheen stated Acetate-Minimal media for heavy metals; modified Oppenheimer and Zobell media for heterotrophic hydrothermal vent bacteria etc are all examples of media you are seeking out.
