Capacity of plant is around 2-3 m3 . After critical survey on the literature I found there is lack of ideas and suggestions on agitation of slurry inside such mid-size digester (6-8 feet) .Many of Methods encountered on internet are practically not feasible. I request researchers to suggest for the the same.

I would try using the largest magnetic stir plate and stir bar I could find. If it is not big enough you could have a larger one custom made.
Thanks Dave K Powelson for your suggestions, But here the problem is , How to give drive to the agitator or blade panel ; As the Biogas plant is floating drum type digester . This floating Dome constraint the provision of shaft from outside digester.
You may go for suitable side entry agitation option or circulating the slurry suitably.
I would try storing a volume of the same biogas and pulse injecting it down the slurry

After critical review and suggestions from researchers and consulting various practical expertise herer we are attempting agitation by using sealed bearings from side walls of digesters. Still digester is under construction. Hope sealed bearings n shaft arrangement would work in efficient manner .
Sealed bearing is a good option or you can choose a water immersible motor couple it to the stirrer and fix it inside the digester with a standard supporting to the wall of digester.
why not just drown one of these immersible mixing pumps as they use it in manure tanks? It can easily be timed on/off from outside and offers enough power to immerse floating layers as well as to remix sedimented grit. Access and maintenance is easy enough in a floating top digester, you just remove your top once in a while.
