Student package is the least expensive package (USD120). If you happen to have a student that would like to use NViVo, you may share with him/her. It can be installed in two devices. I did it last year with one of my classmates where we shared the cost to purchase the license. But student license is available for 1 year. Hi Abbas, NVIVO is a Qualitative Data Analysis software by a company called QSR that assist the analysis of qualitative data such as interviews, focused group discussions, diary contents and many other written documents to carry out in-depth analysis.

It is highly useful as it allows you to represent the results of your analysis with various graphic models as well.

You will have to purchase a licence, except your organisation has/purchases a licence that can be used by many and this is normally renewed by the organisation annually.

You can build MODELS and WORD CLOUDS from NVIVO to explain patterns of data and human behaviour for academic publications and report writing.

Yes, I agree with Tejumade. But remember Abbas, NVivo will not analyze your data like any other statistical software, you are the one who analyze the data. NViVo or any other computer-assisted qualitative data analysis software (CAQDAS) only helps you to organize and manage your data.

Hi Tejumade, Did you finally buy it? I am sailing in your boat now. Planning to buy. This site https://www.qsrinternational.com/nvivo/products given by Alif is giving vanila student version at 85USD. Looks a nice deal. Does anyone know if/how/whether audio files can be analysed in nVivo?
