Some biomolecules, like Proinsulin C-peptide, have an negative electric charge at physiological conditions. This makes it difficult to immobilize them on standard biosensors surface using COOH coupling without affection their function. E.g. dextran biosensor surfaces has a negative charge and thus repels the biomolecule when immobilizing, see attached publication.

We are for looking similar biomolecules as Proinsulin C-peptide to further develop this "immobilization" application. We will use the immobilization in the Attana biosensor, see homepage below.

I would be grateful for recommendations of suitable biomolecules or if any one can supply samples.
