The research area is the offshore area of Vietnam in the South China sea. Monsoon system has trong effects to the longshore current and the upwelling in this area. Wavelet transform is a good idea for temperature and chlorophyll. Can it apply for vectors. I want to analysis quantitively how the change of wind direction and wind speed effect on the change of current and upwelling for many years.

I just use satellite data of adt, SST, wind and chlorophyll.
