I am in search of a simple electrochemical method for modification of electrode surface with Fe3O4 and aniline and electrodeposition of AuNPs and/or MWCNT to increase the sensitivity, intended for detection of some bio markers. Please share some references.
Your question is two fold. Whether you want to incorporate aniline with Fe3O4 or you want to incorporate god nanoparticles also into this or you want to dope polyaniline with aurate ions. Now your problem can be solved in three different ways. If Fe3O4 you want to incorporate, then on MWCNT first incorporate Ferrite particles using ferrofluid, and then do the electrochemical polymerization of aniline on these MWCNT/Ferrite surface in the presence of auric acid, where aurate ions will be incorporated. Second thing is take gold nano particles and incorporated in MWCNT/ferrite matrix and use it as a electrode material and then do electrochemical polymerization.
I have a screen printed carbon electrode, I want to modify it with Fe3O4 and Aniline first, preferably using electrochemical polymerization process. On top of that I would like to deposit either AuNPs or MWCNT or both. I have Fe3O4 nano-particles (Solid), MWCNT (Solid), AuNPs (Solid), Aniline (Solution), HAuCl4 (solution). How stable is the deposited MWCNT (deposited by immersing the electrode in MWCNT suspension overnight).
You want to try so many things in a single experiment. If screen printed Carbon electrode is there, then why you again want to incorporate MWCNT. We have MWCNT incorporated with ferrite in the form of thin sheet, which can be used as an electrode material for polymerizing aniline in the presence of HAuCl4.
Thank you Dr. Sandeep for the answer. It would be great to get some sample or buy some pieces of the MWCNT incorporated thin sheet. I am currently residing in Thailand. The deposition of MWCNT on the electrode surface is often done by immersing the electrode in an activated MWCNT suspension. The stability of so made electrode is often questionable. Are there any electrochemical method (potentiostatic/ galvanostatic) for modifying electrode surface with MWCNT that are robust and stable under multiple use ? Please share.
