I have used various programs for computing SPI in my research work. Most of these make use of sliding-scales. An example for SPI-3, rainfall values for DEC-JAN-FEB could be used to compute MAR SPI-3 value, JAN-FEB-MAR for APR value and so on. I am now looking for a program that does not use sliding-scale; that is, for a given year and say SPI-3, I would like to compute only 4 values and not 12 as outputted by a sliding-scale program.
