Hello!
Please suggest software to randomly generate PMU data.
The data obtained should be as per IEEE format.
Even though it's not in the prescribed format(s) then also any PMU
generator which might be solving the purpose will do.

RSCAD software of RTDS from RTDS technologies Winnipeg Canada can do the same thing....It has a GTNET PMU component in its library.The GTNET PMU component is IEEE C37.118 complied...Thus you can send the PMU data to your PDC.
MATLAB SiMULINK is most suitable for a PMU simulator. However, more important than the software is your mathematical model. We have been working on this for sometime. As the article is communicated but not published, it cannot be shared. You have to work on your own.

Yes I will try it but I needed an OPEN-SOURCE software so as to generate the data & utilise it for the desired respective simulation research.
