At the end of the 1990's, we compiled and published comprehensive data on the trace-element composition of trioctahedral micas (i.e., TISCHENDORF, G., FÖRSTER, H.-J. and GOTTESMANN, B. (2001a) Minor- and trace-element composition of trioctahedral micas: a review. – Mineral. Mag., vol. 64, No. 2, p. 249–276.). Unfortunately, respective data on dioctahedral micas is largely missing.
Sorry! I was to quick with the buttons and forgot adding the question. We are looking for analytically sound data on trace elements in muscovite etc. and we would greatly appreciate any information on references or other sources related to this subject.

Thanks for this clarification. ICP-MS on mineral separates is always a bit tricky because of the likely presence of mineral and fluid inclusions that disturb the output data for a couple of elements. Anyway, there is practically nothing new on this subject on the market, so any contribution is somehow valuable

Thanks for the pdf. One rationale behind my question was to get some more serious clues on the role of micas as hosts of elements that became enriched in granitic melts to an extent that they formed orthomagmatic lithophile metal deposits. Unfortunately, in almost all LA-ICP-MS studies on micas, elements such as Sn, W, Mo, Nb, Ta, U etc. were not sought.
There is also an article that is soon to come out in Acta Sinica Mineralogica on biotite from an occurence in China and discusses trace elements. While the text is in Chinese, the abstract is in English and tables are universal.

Recently, Li et al. (2015) introduced the trace elements of micas by LA-ICPMS in the Yashan Li-F granite (Ore Geology Reviews 65 (2015) 793–810). I and some other chinese researchers also analyzed trace elements of muscovite (W granite) or biotite (Sn granite) grains in the Nanling Range by LA-ICPMS which are unpublished: the Sn and W contents of biotite grains for less and highly fractionated granites are 30~50 ppm and
