I think you will need to be more specific with this question. You tend to assume that one answer can be true for all settings. There are quirte a few variables at play here including:

1. What group of teachers are you referring to? Primary, Secondary or university. The training programmes for these groups vary from country to country. A good paper which focuses on the impact on university teachers is :

2. What kind of learner group are you looking at? Are you looking at impact on a particular group of learners? For instance,teachers who teach learners with disabilities.
