I'm summarizing reported mortality (i.e. number of birds found dead) for the griffon vulture in central Italy from 1994 to 2016.
Reported mortality is a minimum guess with respect to actual mortality. It would be helpful to know about other researches based (e.g.) on substantial telemetry effort if there is some numerical comparison between the number of reported mortality events or dead birds with respect to the estimated death (not survival) rate from telemetry or unbiased data.
