Can anyone please suggest me the standard procedure for the testing of chemicals on active ingredient basis?

Hi may I know what is the active ingredient of your sample ?

If your sample is plant material test for natural products, you can use chromatography e.g. GC , HPLC , TLC etc. Pharmaceutical products usually use chromatography methods and spectrophotometric method.

Chemical solution depends on the active ingredient where method to be used varies from simple gravimetric to advance instrument analysis.
