All these moths (Family Erebidae) were photographed from Bhutan. About 140 species were photographed, of which around 120 has been identified. I am looking for a person who can help me to authenticate my identifications and suggest ID for the remaining unidentified species. (Unfortunately, all the moths are in photographs as the voucher collection in Bhutan is illegal)
You can take help of "World Fauna", Book of A. D. IMMS taxonomy, Henry Komstock, Entomology, or M. S. Mani., High Altitude insects" for identification of moths. Moths possess three important peculiarities 1, antennae, wings, sexual dimorphism and pigmentation. Collect insects take anterior and posterior side photographs, and see the antennae under microscope, use micro dissecting camera, observe its legs, food canal, wing apparatus, type venation, antennae segments, pigment color. You should go for an direct identification and photograph them very carefully.

There are two recent volumes in the Moths of Thailand series that will help you -= especially as many erebids have wide distributions. These are Volumes 3 and 3a (the last published in 2014). These are very well illustrated with high quality plates. You may also get some help from the Tinea supplements on Moths of Nepal published some years ago by the Heterocerists' Society of Japan - if you can get hold of them. You should NOT use Fauna Sinica Noctuidae - the plates are horrendous (bw only) and the taxonomy outdated. How do I get to see the photos?

Both the species shown here is of Miltochrista linga? Please confirm me.
Lower male certainly looks like Barsine linga - Fig 142, Plate 15 Moths of Thailand 6. Upper one is probably the female of the same - can't find an explicit picture of it. Miltochrista is now used only for a very few species - most of the old 'Miltochrista's are now designated as Barsine - defined on genitalic features.
Looks exactly like Bamra lepida (Moore) as illustrated in moths of Thailand 3(2). Authors say - 'Thailand...India, Bangladesh, Nepal, Vietnam, Taiwan - in mid-montane forest'.
