I am trying to do an experimental modal analysis of a violin by using Pulse REFLEX software. However there's no tutorial that helps me understanding this software.
So I wanted to know if it was possible to post-process the data that we get from the Pulse LABshop software, but also how to enter the DOFs and the type of excitation applied to the structure in the Geometry as I can't do it in Pulse REFLEX Modal Analysis.
And if you ever have a tutorial or a user manual for this software could you please inform me.

Sorry if I have never used this specific software (I worked on LMS Cada-X + Test.Lab and Femtools, plus with my own written code), but you should be able to export your dataset to other software, e.g. in Universal File Format (UFF or UNV). The last chance is to edit it manually in the ASCII UNV file.

When measuring Frequency response Functions (FRFs) on lightweight objects such as violins, one must take care and compensate for systematic measurement errors that are introduced.
One way to simplify life is to do the exact opposite of what most textbooks teach - namely to place the force sensor on the shaker and use only a stinger between the violin and the force sensor.
In doing so, you rid yourself of rotational inertia loading effects from the force sensor on you measurement object. Many years ago, this insight took me a long time to figure out and I believe it is not common knowledge.
To get away with this, the stinger must not have resonances which can be designed using simple beam theory. A discussion on this topic is found here http://lib.dr.iastate.edu/cgi/viewcontent.cgi?article=10835&context=rtd
