Good-day. I would say that with the advent of AI platforms such as ChatGPT and many others, it has become a gamechanger in responsive or adaptive learning. However such platforms would have to be used with discretion and in cognisance of institutional policies etc.
There are other more formalised online platforms such as MOOCS eg. "Course era" where one can even obtain a completion qualification in various areas. There is also informal learning platforms which i have personally enjoyed such as "Ted talks" on YouTube.
Mamta Pal Good question, I'll follow the possible contributions, I am interested too.
Sachin Suknunan The problem with MOOCs is that the most of them (well, in fact, all of them) are not adaptive, even I'd say not supportive. That is one, among several problems, of this approach to the online learning, which, as far as I know, they (or the most of them) have no been able to overcome.
We have a MOOC about the Bascis of Adaptive Learning on SwissMOOC (Open Edx). To make a simple, small example of adaptive learning, we used a LTI connection to Moodle. Unfortunately, Moodle is not the best environment for adaptive learning, either. Actually, we transferd the adaptive part to a own learning platform working mainly with html and php and connect to it with an LTI conncection.
