Hi my fellow scientists,
I am conducting a study involving REM sleep and the process of dreaming and is disparately in need of a portable EEG. As you may probably know REM sleep is very hard to achieve in a laboratory setting and therefore a good REM sleep experiment is carried out in the comfort of the participants home. However, I do not have access to a portable EEG and this has caused me with some issues. If anyone who have access to one and do not mind me using it, I would appreciate their kindness for ever. I can pay to hire the equipment for 2 weeks in the next months.
If not can anyone think of a better way to conduct this study without an EEG?
Where in UK are you based?
If you are in or around London, best option for you is to approach people in the institute of Neurology, UCL London. It is near the Queens Square. I think the nearest underground station will be Russel Square. Another good option will be Moorfield's Eye Hospital. They have the institute of ophthalmology there. I hope they may also help.
