I got the XRD of g-c3n4. Please give your opinion and suggest the best way to synthesize g-C3N4. Is it g-c3n4 or not?
according to the only reference that I found in the ICSD, it is not the gamma form.
I have no idea about the synthesis of C3N4, but it seems that there are a lot of modifications, therefore I assume extreme care must be taken in the preparation of the desired polymorph

1. g-C3N4 shows two broad peaks at 2θ = 13.2 and 27.3°.

I sinthetized C3N4 at 580 °C for 3 hours and obtain g-C3N4. I used this cif to index (it was created by VASP calculations). Hope it still helps you.
JCPDS Card No. 87-1526 for g-C3N4. Diffraction peaks appeared at 13.0○ and 27.6○ are corresponding to the interlayer structural packing (100), and interplanar stacking (002) planes due to the graphitic structure of g-C3N4, respectively.
