I am using FRA for EIS. There are options in FRA for circuit fitting but they are not sufficient for designing complicated eq circuits. The FRA generates .pfr or .dfr files. Besides, these files can be converted to ASCI too. What free software might I use to fit the data that opens these files? Or is there any way to convert these files to other formats which work on other free circuit fitting software?
Hi. Personally I use Nova software from Autolab, but it is not free, I believe. One free software I used before, that could help you, is ZView.

Thanks Kien. I have seen that topic before but, the softwares like ZView or those mentioned there are not helpful for opening exactly the .dfr file or .dat file converted from the FRA.
I do not have experiences with .dfr and .dat file. However, I saw the option in Zview to import files (dat, dta, dfr, etc.) within the Files >> Data files. If it doesn't open properly, then my guess is that you may need to edit the file to the proper format, as suggested in the other topic.
I hope If you can convert it into .txt format it will open in Zsimpwin software.
