A UV/vis expt. saturated in 25 min. and rate const. is 0.02 (lnA vs t plot), t1/2 was found to be nearly 35 min. Then how come saturation comes in 25 min? Actually I want to know that is the lesser value of saturation time (25 min) in UV/vis study than the calculated t1/2 (35 min) for a first order reaction is normal or there is some mistake is taking place?

From looking at your plot, you calculated the "half time" from your linear fit, and that indeed reaches the half the starting value at approximately 35 minutes.
Could you please provide a litte more information on the reaction you are observing.
