I found the some billfish vertebrae (Istiophoridae) in Samara, Costa Rica, Pacific coast. Following Nakamura 1983 and 1985 I think there are two possible species: Tetrapturus angustirostris (no image of the vertebrae in the cited references) or Kajikia audax (D, I in the attached part of the publication). Can anybody help me? Maybe somebody has a copy of "Pacific marlins: Anatomy and physiology – 1990 by Peter S Davie" for me? Attached are some images.

Hello Juergen, I am working with billfishes and for the shape of the bones looks more related to Kajikia but I suggest identify the position of each vertebrae first for better review. Attached is the Davie's book but the anatomy is mainly of black marlin. I can review my samples if stil you need to identify
