I am looking for an SMA connector for a 5g millimeter-wave antenna of dimension 10*10mm.
The frequency range of operation is up to 40 GHz.
If anybody from India is working in this area then please share the details about where I can get it?
What should be the diameter and other related specifications of the connector?
The quickest way to get the the required SMA connector with the specification you need is to call the manufacturers. Sometimes they present some useful advice if it is not available.

SMA connectors are supplied with different frequency limits like 18GHz, 26.5GHz, and few with extended frequencies as well. For 40GHz you will need a connector with a greater upper limit. One can't just buy a connector and use it. It has to come with a data sheet, and from a reliable source. The connecter specifications list out electrical, mechanical and other properties.
Your best starting point would be the test instrument supplier (VNA supplier) who will be better knowledgeable of the eco-system for such in India. You may get such connector importer/ seller reference. Maybe patch cables will also be required and so prepare your list exhaustively to save time.
Alternatively, you may procure online after the connector model/ vendor is finalised. Most of them sell direct or through autorised reps.

Edge mounted connectors can be used upto 26 GHz, beyond that you can use 2.92mm connector:

You can use k-type 2.92 mm SMA connector which works at 40 GHz.
