To me looks like member of fabaceae. Earlier I was thinking, it is some sp. of Polygala as the flowers are similar looking.
It is herb of about 30-40 cm height. Originally collected from meghalaya, north east India. It flowers in July-August
No Arvind ji its not Milletia, it is herbaceous plant. Milletia is a tree species. Any ways thanks for suggestions.
I think that this is one of species from Fabaceae family but not Polygala. It is similar to the Astragalus sp.
Definitely not Oleaceae. Swollen petiole base suggests it is a compound leaf. Is this the max height? Do you have images of open flowers? Also do you have images of stipules or fruit?
yes i agree it is not oleaceae. yes 40 cm is max. height observed among population. The flowers open this much only, i have some other views and closeup which i will add here no fruits were found. stipules image is not present with me.
